Audiowalk
In German, English and Spanish Pink Valley deals with personal history and moments of social tension
and experiments with empathy as a phenomenon that has to be aesthetically activated.
The audio-walk you are about to hear is the very experiment we‘re talking about. It is a reaction to right-wing populist
tendencies and an attempt to counteract. We want to remember the feeling of looking at each other in an accepting
and caring way, but don’t worry, this is not an audio meditation to save the world, we just continuously ask: What
does it mean to be ‘civilized’?
Where do we draw borders, where do we build bridges, where do we find the connection between places, times
and people? How do we create empathy and where does it threaten to fall apart?
